In addition to regular courses, we offer a variety of ways for students to distinguish themselves and get involved. You may find yourself at a theater production with other students in the POEM/AS social club, attending the Great Books Series just for fun, exploring archives at the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum with CSAW fellows, finding an editing internship through our Sigma Tau Delta honors program, publishing and editing your poetry or stories in the student journal Legacy, listening to a High Plains Poetry Project reading, presenting your paper at a regional research conference such as Pathways or the WT Undergraduate Research Conference, developing a Capstone research project appropriate for a WT Presidential Scholarship, or preparing your application for a post-graduate position.
